Posisi:
1. Esports Marketing Manager
Responsibilities :
- Strategise, plan, and execute all marketing campaigns / projects in-line with business objectives. Conceptualise campaigns from end-to-end, develop cross-channel marketing and promotional plans, and see through all aspects of campaign / project management to drive results. Key projects include MPL Festival, season-long ticketing management, brand collaborations, and more.
- Identify, pursue, and execute marketing partnerships to drive business objectives and value creation. Work with partners to maximise value exchange and impact while driving ROI for the league, such as enhancing the overall branding of MPL ID, driving sponsorship revenue potential or cost savings for the league, and more.
- Own all aspects of ticketing management. Ensure MPL ID’s ticketing targets are met (e.g. ticket sales and revenue), drive ticketing promotions in an impactful and timely manner, ensure strong data and performance tracking, while managing stakeholders (e.g. ticketing platform, franchise teams, etc).
- Front all marketing collaborations with the MPL ID franchise teams with the goal of growing each teams’ marketing capabilities, community activations, branding, and overall integration / investment into the league. Manage a season-long calendar of all co-marketing programmes, cultivate strong rapport with all teams, proactively pursue collaboration opportunities, and become a trusted marketing expert to the teams.
- Ensure the success of all MPL ID sponsor campaigns / initiatives by working closely with the BD team. Understand each sponsor’s goals / metrics and execute strong brand activations in-line with sponsors’ expectations. Proactively pursue opportunities in utilising sponsors’ resources to enhance the league.
- Manage all aspects of the MPL ID website from seasonal updates, ticket selling functionality, and other website enhancements to drive traffic growth season-on-season.
Qualifications :
- Possess a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in partnerships, activations, business development, project management, brand management, or related fields. Previous experience in the sports, entertainment, esports, or technology industries are preferred, with agency experience considered a plus.
- Possess a strong track record of success in cross-channel campaign conceptualisation, promotion, execution, and timeline management.
- Has a sense for strategic planning, understanding and capturing opportunities, and value creation with limited resources via win-wins.
- Demonstrate proactive self-starter qualities, a strong ability to communicate and manage stakeholders, coupled with a strong desire for success and excellence. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively is essential.
- Showcase the ability to function as a strong, front-facing individual contributor while also managing a small team and/or agency resources.

2. League Operation Manager
Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning and development of the annual esports tournament calendar for Indonesia region, including core tasks such as formulating competition rules, coordinating tournament schedules, and designing processes to establish a robust tournament ecosystem.
- Oversee on-site execution(Operation and Referee) of tournament projects to ensure fair, orderly, and efficient delivery of both online and offline events, encompassing key aspects like managing offline tournament workflows, overseeing professional refereeing, and coordinating cross-departmental collaboration.
- Manage the systematic operation and development of professional teams and players. Leverage internal and external promotional resources to lead the creation of star team and player IPs, enhancing their industry influence and public recognition.
- Oversee the operation, management, and cultivation of esports KOLs. Integrate promotional resources to build structured development pathways, supporting the growth of high-quality esports KOLs and continuously boosting overall tournament exposure and viewership metrics.
Qualifications :
- 4+ years of experience in the gaming/esports industry, with a deep understanding of Indonesia’s esports ecosystem (including team operations, player development, and market dynamics) and localized industry insights.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) as a working language; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with esports tournaments and professional leagues, with expertise in end-to-end tournament management and refereeing standards, backed by a track record of successful cases.
- Practical experience in KOL management, with a thorough grasp of the characteristics and ecosystem logic of Indonesia’s local KOL market, and the ability to accurately navigate local KOL operation dynamics.
- Strong coordination and cross-context communication skills, capable of efficiently driving internal, external, and cross-departmental collaboration.

- Profound insights into the esports industry and innovative thinking, with the ability to propose differentiated strategies for tournament operations or ecosystem development based on market trends.
3. Finance Manager
Responsibilities :
- The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the finance department by ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting and tax filing in a timely manner, assisting in financial analysis and auditing,tax filing and contributing to the overall financial health of the corporation.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed asset management;
- Monitor and review financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed;
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements and ensure they are accurate and in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and other audit cases and ensure timely delivery of required documents.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare calculation of monthly WHT and VAT and complete the payment process.
- Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments for all applicable jurisdictions.
Internal Controls:

Systems and Processes:
- Work with IT and other stakeholders to optimize and improve financial systems and processes.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy;

Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

4. Esports Community & Ecosystem Manager
Responsibilities :
- MOONTON is looking for a passionate and driven individual to lead our esports community efforts in Indonesia. As the Community Marketing Manager in our ID esports team, you will lead and own all community management initiatives across our audience base, from franchise team superfans, to students, online communities, and more.
- You will be leveraging communities to drive key business priorities, such as running MPL ID’s official superfans league, amplifying tournament narratives, building rivalries, generating UGC, driving onsite attendance / event participation, and more. You will also drive the success of major ecosystem tournaments in Indonesia, such as MWI, SEA Games, Asian Games, and support local third party / community tournament organisers.
- A suitable candidate must have a successful track record in community management, running community activations, and managing groups / moderators. This candidate must be highly proactive, is able to build bridges / rally support among communities, is detail oriented, and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Develop and execute community-facing initiatives to drive league objectives, i.e. amplifying narratives, building rivalries, generating discussion / UGC, driving registration / participation, securing attendance for esports matches, and more.
- Manage all internal and external community platforms, e.g. MPL ID’s FB group and Discord, universities / student clubs, superfans, and more. Establish strong influence and penetration within these communities.
- Own and lead the MPL ID superfans league, drive growth and impact of the program for the long term.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive moderator program, develop a solid pipeline of moderators to support league requirements / initiatives.
- Serve as the primary community and marketing liaison with all MPL ID franchise teams with the goal of driving higher participation and effort in growing their communities.
- Oversee superfan regulation and guidelines. Ensuring teams communities adhere to regulations and uphold sportsmanship. Lead any mediations between the league and teams when required.
- Champion and amplify key ecosystem tournaments and third-party IPs within Indonesia, such as national tournaments, women’s tournaments, campus tournaments, and more. Drive success via facilitation of promotional resources, live stream slots, technical support, etc.
- Manage the application and review process for third-party tournaments, providing tiered support and resources to high-value ecosystem / community tournament organizers.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with franchise teams (from execution to management) and ecosystem organizers.
Qualifications :
- 6-8 years of experience in community management or an equivalent role within the gaming, esports, technology, or entertainment industry.
- Experience in organising community tournaments, building communities, managing community groups, being a moderator or managing groups of moderators.
- Track record in establishing influence within communities and developing / executing community strategies that drive engagement, growth, and positive sentiment.
- Experience managing online communities on platforms such as Discord, Facebook Groups, Telegram/WhatsApp, etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Indonesian esports scene, particularly the MPL ID ecosystem.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
